Simonton Windows
Slim-Frame Vinyl Windows Built for More Light and Lasting Comfort
Simonton’s story began in 1946 in Pennsboro, West Virginia, when Fred and Sybil Simonton started a company making exterior aluminum products. In 1981, the family shifted its focus to energy-efficient vinyl windows, and Simonton Windows was born. Today, Simonton windows are made in the USA, and the company is part of Cornerstone Building Brands, which Simonton describes as North America’s largest manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors.
At American Window Company, we offer Simonton DaylightMax vinyl replacement windows to homeowners throughout Southern California. Our team can help you choose the right styles, glass, and colors for your home, then handle the installation from start to finish.

Simonton DaylightMax Window Styles
DaylightMax windows feature a slim frame design that maximizes the glass area, bringing more natural light and wider views into your home. According to Simonton, the larger glass viewing area provides up to 40% more daylight than wide-frame windows. The collection comes in a full range of styles to fit every room.

Single Hung and Sliding Windows
A natural fit for homes replacing older aluminum windows. The bottom sash of a single hung window lifts open and tilts in for easy cleaning, while sliding windows glide open from side to side. Both come with Simonton's AutoSense lock, which automatically secures the window when it closes.

Casement and Awning Windows
These hinged windows crank open for excellent ventilation. Casements swing out to the side, and awnings open outward from the top. Both feature a nesting crank handle that folds neatly out of the way and a multi-point locking lever.

Picture Windows and Specialty Shapes
Fixed picture windows frame your views and fill a room with light. Specialty shapes, including circles, arches, and other geometric designs, add architectural interest above doors or alongside other windows.

Bay, Bow, and Garden Windows
Bay and bow windows combine three or more windows that angle outward to add dimension and space. Garden windows project outward to create a sunny ledge for plants and herbs, making them a favorite for kitchens.
